This series of four collagraphs were made during a residency at the Kansas City Art Institute. KCAI is across the street from the Nelson Atkins Museum, which has extensive grounds dotted with Henry Moore sculptures, Norway pines and gingkos. My mother died very suddenly in September 1990. This series of 4 prints has an elegiac quality, pines in lieu of weeping willows.
